Topic Identity

In my hub we have Topics-Topics are where we can research something or to presentand share- for Term 4 we have the topic-Identity-What is your name?

On the 15th of October my hub found out what our names meant. We viewed a video of Taiye Selasi who asked why cant you just ask me where am I a local rather than where I am from? 

This is where my teacher Miss Gallagher found the three R's. R number 1 Rituals. This is what the things you do everyday maybe you say a prayer before you go to bed or you eat a setian food in the morning,R number 1.

Rain Writing

Rain

I can hear tiny little droplets of water                                       
forcing itself towards the ground. 

 If I were deaf the coldness of the rain
 would make me shiver. 

 And I should know the rain by the bland
 taste and the aftertaste of nothing. 

The solid beat sound of the rain makes me 
want to be a conductor.

If I shall not
 feel,hear,smell,see or even
 a slight taste. 

 You would still 
 characterize me 
 circlaute me 
 shower over me

Making Pikelets

This week my hub did some cooking. This was something different that the daily tasks.We made PIKELETS!!! The pikelets only had 2 ingredients. The making of the pikelets was so fast that it wasn't even 10 mins. I gladly had the role of resource collecter. Open the slides to find out more.🥞🥞🥞

Te Wiki O Te Reo Maori

This week is Te Wiki O Te Reo Maori. 

My Teachers gave my Hub a task to complete.My Hub Has to write down 10  Maori words and write the meaning of those choosen words. Part 2 of the Task 1 is to Take a voice recording of the slides and the 10 Maori words.
